How to support the mental health of teens in your life

The number of teens experiencing depression and anxiety has significantly increased in recent years. And while there may never be enough mental health clinicians to support every student, we believe that educators and families are uniquely positioned to help teens learn the knowledge and skills to improve their own mental health.

As part of our relationship mapping and mental health initiatives, we’ve been focusing much more of our time on creating resources for educators and caregivers to help them support student mental health. We aim to Increase awareness around mental health for both teens and adult in addition to providing adults with actionable tips and strategies to support their teens, and themselves.

We recently held two trainings for parents, educators, and community adults to support the mental health of teens in their lives. Below you’ll find video recordings of the trainings, along with presentation materials and key takeaways.
